Rossana Rocha has been awarded the Bristol Rovers Women's 2019/20 'Player of the Season'.
The Portuguese forward has been an integral part of our inaugural season, who has not only been a key asset on the pitch but has demonstrated an exemplary attitude and work-ethic behind the scenes.
Rocha said; "I'm very proud to have been given this award but I wouldn't have been able to achieve this if it wasn't for my amazing team-mates. I love playing with these girls and they help me to keep improving and to succeed together as a team."
First-Team Manager, Nathan Hallett-Young, said; "There were so many stand-out performances during our first season, which made the decision amongst the coaching team incredibly difficult. Rossana's quality is there for all to see and her presence amongst the squad is incredibly positive, especially with our younger players."
The prize for the Development Team 'Player of the Season' will be awarded in the coming weeks.
