WHERE DO BRISTOL ROVERS WOMEN'S PLAY THEIR HOME MATCHES?
Bristol Rovers Women's play at the Lockleaze Sports Centre, Bonnington Walk, Lockleaze, Bristol, BS7 9XF. The £6m facility was built in 2018 and boasts a UEFA standard 3G pitch, where the 'Gas Girls' train and play every week.
HOW DO I GET THERE?
Lockleaze Sports Centre is easily accessible by car, bus and train.
By Car: LSC can be accessed by leaving Station Road (A4174) onto Filton Avenue. Once you reach the crossroads with the Tesco Express on your right hand side, turn left onto Bridge Walk. Keep following this road until you pass see the sign for LSC on the left hand side.
By Bus: There are stops that are situated on Filton Avenue which are a ten-minute walk from LSC, just off Toronto Road. Bus No. 70 & 73 pass the Toronto Road stops.
By Train: Filton Abbey Road is the nearest train station to LSC. Simply walk up the pathway next to the MOD building and you'll soon arrive at the LSC
CAN I PURCHASE REFRESHMENTS?
Yes. Lockleaze Sports Centre has a bar serving beer, soft drinks and snacks. There's also a fully functional kitchen that will be serving traditional pub food throughout the day.
WHERE CAN I VIEW THE MATCH?
Lockleaze Sports Centre has an open-air balcony and viewing platform that gives you an excellent view which overlooks the pitch. Keep an eye on the weather as we'd recommend a waterproof if it starts to rain.
CAN MY CHILD MEET THE TEAM AND/OR BE A MASCOT?
Yes. We've been asked by the families of young supporters to meet the players on many occasions already and it's something that we always like to facilitate. If your child or your youth team would like to visit us on a match day, please get in touch with us and we'll start making some arrangements. We do not charge for this!
IS THERE CAR PARKING AVAILABLE?
Yes. The car park is free. It can be busy on match days, however there is usually available space nearby over-flow car park.
WILL I BE ABLE TO PURCHASE ANY
'GAS GIRL' MERCHANDISE?
DO I NEED TO PAY FOR ENTRY?
No. Entry to 'Gas Girls' matches are free. Our online membership is also free so feel free to sign-up today.
We are hoping to have a stall where supporters will be able to order 'Gas Girls' merchandise via our partners website at 'Crossed Swords'. More information will be available in due course.
