The 'Gas Girls' return to The Mem!

Bristol Rovers Women's are absolutely delighted to announce that the 'Gas Girls' will play at The Memorial Stadium for the first time in over twenty years.

Once Joey Barton's team take on Forest Green Rovers on Saturday 23rd April, in what is expected to be an important match for both teams in the EFL League Two promotion battle, Bristol Rovers Women's will face Forest Green Rovers Ladies in a post-season friendly to celebrate our partnership with Her Game Too.

Co-Founder and Club Secretary, Matthew Davies said, "Everyone at Bristol Rovers Women's FC are delighted to announce this historic double-header fixture at The Memorial Stadium. We'd personally like to thank the team behind the scenes at Bristol Rovers for all of their hard work and support to get this match up and running. We'd also like to thank Forest Green Rovers for helping us to celebrate each others partnerships with Her Game Too in style. It's been a joy to see Her Game Too go from strength to strength this season and as the Women's game continues to grow, the campaign will play an important role to inspire the next generation of female supporters and players."

A host of activities are planned for the day and further information about tickets and the match itself will be released in due course.
