Bristol Rovers Women have continued to strengthen their respective squads with the addition of three new players in preparation for the 2021/22 season.
Welsh winger/forward, Jacqueline Maddock signs for the 'Gas Girls' after a successful few weeks in training which combined with an impressive brace during a recent pre-season friendly. The former Swansea City player comes to Rovers with experience and will be making her official debut once International Clearance has been confirmed.
Life-long 'Gas Head' Alice Gregory described her move to Rovers as a dream come true! Her impressive display during the recent 'Open Sessions' earned her a place in our Development Team and her leadership qualities will become invaluable during the season. Gregory had recently Captained Red Falcons FC during their debut season and has become a regular at the Bristol Women's Casual League, as to which we already have established a fantastic relationship.
Anya Shipp was also announced as our fourth signing of the summer and will slot into our Development Team for the new season. The attacking midfielder who has had experience playing at Gloucestershire County level, has returned to football after a two-year hiatus. Anya's potential shone through during the recent training sessions and will become an exciting part of our squad.
Everyone at Bristol Rovers Women's would like to welcome all three of our new 'Gas Girls' to the Club!
