On Tuesday evening at The Memorial Stadium, Shannon Francis was presented with the 2019/20 Bristol Rovers Women's Development Team Player of the Season Award.
Shannon has been an integral part of the Development Team since her arrival at the club in the summer of 2019 and as well as her quality defensive attributes, the centre-back also has an eye for goal.
Francis joined the 'Gas Girls' after taking part in the incredibly successful Bristol Women's Casual Football League. A League that offers nearly 200 women the opportunity to play football in a fully inclusive and safe environment and Bristol Rovers Women's are absolutely thrilled to be partners with the League.
