As we approach our first pre-season match of the season, Bristol Rovers Women's are thrilled to welcome Freya Rolfe into the 'Gas Girls' setup.
The 16-Year-Old defender joins Rovers after playing for Longwell Green Juniors and spending two years with the Gloucestershire County Schools squad. Rolfe has impressed the coaching staff with her positive attitude, application in training and her potential to grow and develop. Ferya will make her senior football debut for our Development Team this season.
Rolfe, said "I am delighted to be signing with Bristol Rovers. I’m really excited to progress as both a player and person and feel Rovers is the perfect place for me. I’m glad to be a part of the team as all the coaching staff and players have made me feel so welcome and supported from the first day I arrived. I have really enjoyed and appreciated my time with Longwell Green youth over the past few seasons and also the last two years with Gloucestershire Schools County. But I really can’t wait to get started on this new journey with Rovers. So gassed for the season to get underway."
