Bristol Rovers Women's kicked off their new season with an impressive 4-1 victory against nearby Almondsbury Women in the South West Regional Women's League (Northern Division).
In the blistering heat, it was the 'Gas Girls' who managed to adapt to the conditions and bag the 3 points against an experienced Almondsbury squad.
It was a League debut hat-trick for Lily Greenslade and an opening goal from Zoe Fielden-Stewart that confirmed the victory for Rovers.
