Gas Girls make it 7 out of 7 against Oldland Abbotonians

Bristol Rovers Women's maintained their 100% League record on Sunday afternoon after a hard earned 5-1 win against Oldland Abbotonians Ladies.

Weather conditions played an integral part as many games from across the region succumb to the wet weather experienced overnight. Lockleaze Sports Centre was more reminiscent of a wind tunnel on occasions, rather than a football pitch.

Goals from Annys Turner x2, Zoe Fielden-Stewart x2 and a penalty from Poppy Warren were enough to seal the three points and keep their six point lead at the top of the South West Women's League (Northern Division)

The girls will now be looking to continue their run on Sunday when they travel to Weston Mendip.
