Bristol Rovers Community Trust were delighted to welcome over 160 girls to the Local Round of the EFL Girls Cup at Lockleaze Sports Centre on Friday.
The annual Tournament runs across the Country with pupils from Year 7 & 8 taking part with the hope of starting their journey to Wembley Stadium for the Grand Final.
After a fascinating and competitive contest, Downend School edged the victory against Redland Green School in the Final and the girls from Downend will now represent Bristol Rovers in the Area Finals in January. Congratulations, girls!
