Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, it had been well over a year since we were able to welcome junior girls clubs from across the community as our guests on a match-day.

Last Sunday we were thrilled to be joined by the girls from Bristol Rovers Supporters Juniors FC U11's. The girls had the opportunity to meet the 'Gas Girls' in the changing room before heading out onto the pitch for a mini-match and watch the warm-up.

Co-Founder and Club Secretary, Matthew Davies said "It's been such a long time since we have been able to welcome clubs to watch the 'Gas Girls' but it was fantastic to see lots of young girls engaging with the club and thoroughly enjoying their day. It was amazing to hear them chanting and cheering throughout the game and to hear them asking their parents whether they can come again, makes it all worthwhile."
