Fixture Update: League fixtures on 13th December postponed

The Gloucestershire County Women's League fixtures (Bristol Rovers Women's Vs Gloucester City Ladies & Bradley Stoke Ladies Vs Bristol Rovers Women's Development) have been postponed due to the current Government and FA restrictions.

The current guidelines state that fixtures between teams from two different Counties in tier 3 are unable to play. It is likely that the fixtures scheduled for Sunday 20th December (Pucklechurch Sports Ladies Vs Bristol Rovers Women's & Bristol Rovers Women's Development Vs Olveston Utd) will also be postponed. However we are awaiting confirmation from the Gloucestershire County Women's League early next week.

Club Secretary, Matthew Davies said, "Naturally it's disappointing as everyone is eager to get back to playing matches, however we respect the guidelines and the decisions that have been made. We will be following the current guidelines over the course of the next couple of weeks to ensure that our training programme is as safe possible. We can't wait to get back together and prepare for what is going to be a very busy 2021."

It is hoped that the restrictions will ease further in the new year for the 'Gas Girls' to continue their league campaign on January 10th at home to Abbeymead Rovers.
