Over the last few weeks, Maureen has been struggling to get to the supermarket and pick up the essentials she needs, due to her health and a family member unable to assist as they are currently isolating.
Bristol Rovers Women's FC forward, Georgia Vandries has made to the journey to visit her, to deliver some essential items and food to help her over the coming weeks.
The visit was prompted by a chat that Georgia had with Maureen, when she volunteered to make some phone calls to our vulnerable and elderly supporters last week as part of the Tackling Loneliness Project.
Despite being unable to train and play during these difficult times, the whole squad is committed to doing what they can to help those in the community and within the Bristol Rovers Community.
