The 'Gas Girls' were back out in the community earlier this week to support the relaunch of the FIT PIRATES programme which is run by Bristol Rovers Community Trust.
FIT FANS is a FREE health programme for men and women aged 35-65 who are looking to lose weight, get fitter and lead a more active life.
Bristol Rovers Women's players Jamie-Leigh Worlock, Poppy Warren, Zoe Jones, Jess Frazer and Georgina Burgess volunteered their time to support the first cohort by taking basic measurements such as height, weight, waistline and blood pressure during their induction session.
The 12 week programme will take place every Wednesday at The Memorial Stadium from 7pm-9pm with a female only group to take place later in the year.
