Bristol Rovers Community Trust and Bristol Rovers Women are delighted to announced our very first Girls Talent ID sessions as part of the FA 'Discover My Talent' & EFL Female Talent ID programme.
We are looking for players to be referred into our Women’s England Talent Pathway from ANY playing environment, including Regional Talent Clubs, Advanced Coaching Centres, Grassroots Clubs, Schools and Community environments.
'Gas Girls' Secretary, Matthew Davies, said: "We're incredibly excited to announce the details for our first 'Girls Talent ID sessions' in collaboration with the FA and the EFL. Being able to offer girls from within our community, the opportunity to take part in sessions like these, regardless of their background or demographic is incredibly important to us. There are still socio-economic issues and a negative stigma that can have a detrimental affect for girls who aspire to become a future Lioness. These sessions are an opportunity for us to potentially unearth the next Lucy Bronze, Nikita Parris or Jill Scott."
Our Talent ID sessions take place on;
Tuesday 7th June (For girls aged 10-13 years old)
Tuesday 14th June (For girls aged 14-16 years old)
Tuesday 21st June (For girls aged 14-16 years old)
At Lockleaze Sports Centre, Bonnington Walk, BS7 9XF
Starting at 5:30pm - 7:00pm
